The servo star motor is a full featured, high performance brushless sinusoidal velocity servo loop controller.  It is configured to operate in one of many user selectable modes of operation.  All control modes are closed loop servo feedback, are digitally compensated, and offer a wide degree of flexibility.  The unit utilizes a 30-ampere external drive amplifier.  The servomotor spins at 7000 rpm in the grinding application.
